Since I was 22 years old, I have been practically traveling around the world. After over 12 years in the USA, sacrifices, and experiences abroad in 4 countries, I returned to Italy with a specific goal: to do something for my country!

Although many believe that technology, specifically artificial intelligence, is a threat to our society, I firmly believe that innovation and technology are drivers for our cultural, social, and economic rebirth.

AI itself will not destroy any jobs, but it will certainly increase the gap between those who are productive and those who are not productive exponentially. This difference indeed emerges between those who use and those who do not use, or start using too late, the technology.

“Innovative and technological” progress is the main vector of social and economic change. However, the idea of positive progress is not always guaranteed; in fact, many times it is associated with negativity. The directionality of progress depends mainly on the lack of knowledge that often exists regarding the technology in question.

In the case of Artificial Intelligence, the very little knowledge in the field generates fear and, consequently, risks slowing down investments and the dissemination of the discipline (AI) that will dominate all technological trends in the next 100 years. In this regard, two years ago, with Francesco and Vincenzo, we decided to launch Data Masters, the first online academy in Italy focused on Artificial Intelligence, with the goal of democratizing access to Artificial Intelligence knowledge as much as possible, training the new generations of Italian and European talents specialized in Artificial Intelligence.

At Data Masters, when asked about Artificial Intelligence, we are convinced that:

• If we don’t use it, someone else will.
• If it is used well, it will contribute to being more productive, wealthier, more creative, and happier.
• Those who avoid using it will lose productivity and inevitably become victims.

This adventure is based on very solid foundations, with over 30 investments in Artificial Intelligence in Silicon Valley, where with BootstrapLabs, we have achieved 1 IPO and 6 multimillion-dollar exits.
By my side, I know that I have a team of the highest quality, and above all, two partners who, like me, are among the most knowledgeable in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Italy and share the passion for disseminating this discipline.
